Mother of the Year... NOT!

What does someone who's hoping to be named "Mother of the Year" do on Halloween? Why, take their children to the dentist, of course! My sweet girls were definitely not going to award me mother of the year this morning! They both had dentist appointments at 8am! This trip, however, was made just a little easier due to the fact that we go to the GREATEST dentist office ever! It's called the Dental Depot and it's so fun! It looks like a little train station, complete with a few train cars out front.
The whole interior is decorated with train memorabilia and even has a few trains running around on tracks up near the ceiling. For those of you who know our family...can you guess who picked this dentist office???? When Rick saw this place, we changed dentist offices immediately! It also helped that they have Saturday hours since he can really only go on Saturdays!

Hannah really enjoys going to the dentist. She goes into the exam room all by herself, like a big girl!They gave her these fun pumpkin sunglasses to keep the bright lights out of her eyes while the dentist checked her teeth!
Since she has her 2 bottom molars, they "sealed" them today, just in time for her to eat lots of junk tonight!

Haylee is a little more nervous when it comes to the dentist. She has been to this office 3 times and hasn't let them do much yet. Today, however, was different. I sat in the chair and let her sit in my lap.She let them do everything today...checked her teeth, cleaned them, put flouride on them, etc. I was so proud of her! The dentists and hygienists there are fabulous with the kids! Haylee's favorite thing is the giant stuffed kangaroo with big choppers and a matching toothbrush. They bring it out so she can practice brushing it's teeth.

In the end, their teeth looked great and we're set for another 6 months! Show us your pearlies, girlies!
