It's almost time for a special visitor...

The Backpack Fairy!

I can't believe it's almost time for her to visit again!!

We are so lucky to have a special visitor stop by our house each fall! The night before the first day of school the girls put their backpacks by the front door and head off to bed knowing that when they wake up in the morning, there will be a surprise waiting for them! (this really helps take their minds off of being nervous for their first day of school so they can get a decent nights sleep. )

Usually she brings a new shirt for the first day of school, maybe some special pencils, a new lunch box, a fun spiral notebook...the sky is the limit!

I... I mean *she* had a special shirt made up for them! Lots of sparkle! And those shoes!
Who doesn't need a little bling to start their day off right?

I love that we have this tradition and that they look so forward to it each year. There are already whispers in the house, wondering what she might bring them in a few weeks!
