Miss Haylee is now a card-carrying member of the Ponytail Kids Club!
What, you may ask, is that? The club collects donated hair and makes wigs for cancer patients who can't afford to buy them. Ponytail Kids is different than Locks of Love in that you only have to donate 8 inches (instead of 10).
Haylee has an extremely sensitive scalp and hates to have her hair brushed. Her friend, Mithra, got her hair cut super short. When we asked her about it she told us about Ponytail Kids and Haylee wanted to do it. I thought it was a great idea at first (no more crying when I brushed her hair!) and then I started thinking about my sweet babies hair being all gone and wasn't sure this was a good thing. Haylee and her sister both have beautiful hair (if I do say so myself!) but then I remembered...it will grow back!

showing off her newly cut ponytails that she will be donating...Now that she's had it done, I LOVE it! I think the cut suits her well. Someone said she looks like the American Girl doll, Kit Kittredge... what do you think?
