Halloween 2009

Halloween, one of my favorite holidays!

This year we had the Seal's and the West's over for a lovely dinner of mummy dogs, chips, dips and we even tried to get some veggies in them before we took the goblins out trick-or-treating. It's so fun to see the kids so excited... no one wanted to eat dinner, they just wanted to get out there and start collecting candy.

Here are a few photos from that night:

"What is the Good Witch?" you may ask. Well, I heard of it somewhere, I can't remember where. Basically, Hannah and Haylee both get a ziploc baggie (quart size) to fill up with candy they want to keep. The rest of it goes back into the bucket to be placed by the front door to await the Good Witch. She then comes, takes the candy and leaves them some other goodies in place of the candy. Here is what they got this year:

We had a lot of fun this year! Now it's time to put away the Halloween decorations and spend the month remembering all that we have to be Thankful for!

Hope you had a spooky but safe Halloween!

I know I tell you all the time about how great your ideas...but I'm going to tell you again! I absolutely love the idea of the good witch!
The kids looked so adorable in their costumes! It looks like it was a lot of fun! The only thing missing was us! hahahaha-just kidding! Although it would have been fun for us to have you guys to go out trick or treating with again.

What cute pictures! We had such a great time, and of course Kaiya is still talking about Trick or Treating with Hannah & Haylee!
